Event: Open Software Integrators' Andrew Oliver Speaks on Spring Data, Hadoop, Neo4j and MongoDB

Event: Chicago Java Users Group Date: July 17, 2012 Time: 6:00 p.m. (CST) Place: Chicago Mercantile Exchange 20 South Wacker Drive ULL-A Auditorium Chicago IL, 60606 Andrew C. Oliver, President of Open Software Integrators will be speaking at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange at a meeting of the Chicago Java User Group. Oliver will give a talk on using SpringData as a standardized means of accessing your corporate data. The talk will focus on using SpringData with JPA and your existing RDBMS while using it with Neo4j, Hadoop or MongoDB in the future. This is not a death by PowerPoint talk. While there are slides, there are liberal running code examples using Spring Data with a non-trivial data structure. This presentation is not only a good introduction to Spring Data but is also a good survey of NoSQL and Big Data solutions. Room may be limited so RSVP. To RSVP, please go to gather.us RSVPs will close on Tuesday, July 17th at noon.
